Description
The Aerocraft H-60 Cargo Basket attaches to the left- or right-hand side belly of the helicopter to provide a means of carrying cargo outside of the aircraft in a locked container (basket). The Cargo Basket is capable of carrying 350 lbs (158 kg) on either side of the aircraft. The typical payloads could include but are not limited to: tools, equipment, or generators. The removable basket is constructed from a chromoly steel weldment with various aluminum parts. Each installation of the Cargo basket weighs approximately 59 lbs (27 kg). The internal dimensions of the cargo basket measure approximately 72″ (182 cm) length X 19″ (48 cm) width X 15″ (12 cm) height.
Installation of the Cargo Basket consists of permanent Aircraft Brackets and a removable Cargo Basket. The Aircraft Brackets attached to the fuselage allow for the Cargo Basket to be quickly removed with a series of quick release pins. The basket attaches to the H-60 Helicopter and spans between Fuselage STA 308-379.
